Man Caves Home Theater sells and installs products needed to install a television on a wall. It is important to use a professional like Man Caves Home Improvement to install your television as a knowledge of construction and strengths of materials is required. It is almost alway necessary to mount a television to studs with proper sized lag bolts. Mounting into concrete, stone, and drywall can be trickier and should be attempted unless you have knowledge in this area.
FLAT MOUNT
Flat mounts are used in applications when being tight against a wall is desired. If it is possible for the viewers to see behind the screen than you may want to consider a flat mount. Using a flat mount on certain screens requires the use of A/V adaptors to appropriately hide the cabling behind the screen.
TILT MOUNT
The most commonly used mount, the tilt allows the viewer to aim the screen directly at the viewing area. This mount allows the screen to tilt up and down. Perfect for televisions mounted above 48 inch, above fireplaces or located above large furniture. These units can be adjusted with relative ease.
ARTICULATING MOUNT
These mounts do it all. They were originally designed for a screen mounted in the corner of a room. They tilt and come away from the wall to angle. Perfect for mounting in a location where you can see the screen from two rooms but would like to angle it to the room your currently in for ideal viewing at that instance. Articulating mounts allow the screen to come between 15” – 20” off the wall for angling.
