A Home Theater in a Box, or HTIB, is a complete home theater system which include all the surround sound speakers you need and a home theater receiver. These system are an inexpensive alternative to buying individual parts. You will sacrifice some things in the way of quality in the speakers but the Onkyo receivers are what the company is know for. As you move up in series the receivers have more functions and controls, and the speaker quality is enhanced. Unfortunately they do not make a series with in-wall or in-ceiling speakers so if concealment is a requirement look toward buying components individually.
